The Challenge:
The Langley Local Immigration Partnership brings community leaders together to improve immigrant and refugee settlement and integration in the City and the Township of Langley, BC. It does this by supporting community-level research and planning, and by creating more welcoming and inclusive communities. Its aim is to help newcomers participate economically, socially, politically, and culturally in the local community.
Our Solution:
Based on the idea that strong communities are welcoming communities, we developed the working concept of ‘We all belong in Langley’. The brand direction is centered around the idea of the individual’s connection to the community and the harmony between those two entities. Individuals and communities are represented by the dot of the ‘i’ and the circle of the ‘p’ – the logo shows a desire for the two to be connected. We developed this concept with fun, engaging, colour combinations and positive photography depicting successful members of strong communities.
