The Challenge:

Gitanyow had outgrown their existing website, which was built on an outdated content management system (CMS) that no longer met their needs. The site was difficult to navigate, making it hard for Wilp members to access important news, governance documents, and community resources. As the organization expanded, they needed a scalable website design solution that could support new departments, improve user experience, and better reflect their role in Indigenous land stewardship, governance, and community leadership.

Our Solution:

We designed and developed a modern website that is both visually compelling and easy to manage. Using a user-friendly CMS, the new web design platform allows Gitanyow to easily add pages and expand their digital presence as the organization grows. Improved navigation, streamlined page structure, and intuitive drop-down menus make it easier for users to find important information quickly.

Video banners and immersive visual storytelling help bring the site to life while reinforcing Gitanyow’s connection to land, culture, and governance. We also improved the visibility of news updates and key resources to strengthen community engagement and help Wilp members stay informed and connected. Throughout the project, we worked closely with Gitanyow to ensure the website design reflected their values, goals, and long-term vision.
