The Challenge:

The Langley Local Immigration Partnership brings community leaders together to improve immigrant and refugee settlement and integration in the City and Township of Langley, BC. Through community-based research, strategic planning, and outreach initiatives, the organization works to create more welcoming, inclusive, and connected communities where newcomers can participate economically, socially, politically, and culturally in local life.

Our Solution:

Based on the idea that strong communities are welcoming communities, we developed the working concept of “We all belong in Langley.” The brand identity and logo design centred around the relationship between individuals and community, using the dot of the “i” to represent the individual and the circle of the “p” to symbolize the community they belong to. The logo shows the clear desire for the two to be connected.

We brought the concept to life through vibrant colour palettes, approachable graphic design, and positive community photography that reflected successful, diverse, and engaged members of the community. The result was a welcoming visual identity system that supports community engagement, inclusivity, and meaningful connection.
